About This Wroxall Abbey Estate Wedding

The day began with bridal preparations before the ceremony, with final details, jewellery and the wedding dress all carefully coming together. The bride wore an elegant white dress with delicate gold detailing, combining a classic bridal look with subtle Asian influences.

The ceremony took place inside the historic church at Wroxall Abbey Estate. With stone walls, stained glass, a long aisle and traditional architectural details, it offered a timeless setting for the couple’s vows. The bride was accompanied down the aisle by her father before the couple exchanged rings and signed the register surrounded by family and friends.

After the ceremony, the grounds and historic ruins at Wroxall Abbey Estate gave us the opportunity to create a selection of relaxed portraits. The stone archways, textured walls and green surroundings worked beautifully for both natural couple portraits and more atmospheric bridal images. Even with a little rain, the white umbrella added a lovely documentary feel to the photographs and became part of the story of the day.

The reception continued in a beautifully dressed marquee, with guests seated for the wedding breakfast before the evening celebrations began. The décor, flowers, cake cutting and family moments all added to the atmosphere of the day. As the evening unfolded, there was music, dancing and colourful performances, giving the reception a vibrant and celebratory feel.

This wedding was a wonderful example of how multicultural weddings can bring together different traditions, families and moments into one personal celebration. From the church ceremony to the Asian wedding details and energetic reception, Wroxall Abbey Estate provided a memorable backdrop throughout the day.
