Sikh Wedding Ceremony at Khalsa Jatha London
The Sikh wedding ceremony was held at Central Gurdwara / Khalsa Jatha London, where the couple were surrounded by close family and friends during the Anand Karaj.
The ceremony included quiet, emotional moments as well as the colour and detail that make Sikh wedding photography so rich to document. The bride’s red bridal outfit, jewellery, choora, kalire and embroidered dupatta photographed beautifully against the warm tones of the gurdwara interior.
Images from this part of the day included the couple seated before the Guru Granth Sahib, musicians performing kirtan, family members taking part in the ceremony, and the quieter moments of reflection that are such an important part of Sikh wedding photography.

After the ceremony, we created a series of couple portraits around London, using the city itself as part of the wedding story.
